Applesauce

This is a super sweet way to enjoy apples and get all kinds of nutrients too!

  • 1 pound of apples
  • 3 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar

Cut up and core the apples, keeping half of the peels. Dice the apples into 1/2 inch cubes, and cut up half of the peels into finely shredded pieces.

Cook in your crock-pot with cinnamon and sugar for 19 hours on medium.

Serve warm or chill and pour over ice cream.

(makes 4 cups)
